This recipe also take you out from being stuck with your same old juice, that is usually made from those ready to mix with water and ice. Now you can make your old, cheaper if you already have tanglad on your backyard’s, plus a guaranteed healthy and savory. Make yourself, or share it with your family and friends, while enjoying your favorite foods with it. This tanglad iced tea can be with any dish, complementing and giving your dining a perfect panulak. Also, this is easy and quick to prepare. - 3 stalks lemongrass, white part only
- 1 thumb-sized ginger, sliced
- 6 cups water
- ⅓ cup palm sugar
- ⅓ cup milk (optional)
- 4 teabags
- Crushed ice
- In a pot, heat water and teabags. Add the lemongrass, ginger and palm sugar.
- Simmer for 8-10 minutes.
- Cool and pour into glasses. Add ice and milk if desired. Garnish with lemongrass as stirrer.
